New Delhi: After a spell of intense cold in many parts of the country, the weather is changing. The weather in Delhi-NCR now appears to be changing along with a change in the pollution levels which has resulted in a thick pall of smog over the last several weeks. The Indian Meteorological Department said that after the weather change on January 24, the temperature will drop further. 

What is the weather forecast for Thursday?

The maximum temperature is expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum 7 degrees Celsius. Moderate fog is also expected. Weather experts believe that due to rain and strong winds in Delhi and surrounding areas, the pollution levels will decrease. However, after this, the intense cold may trouble people for 2 to 3 days. Therefore, the Indian Meteorological Department has advised people to be vigilant, avoid going out in the open unnecessarily, and take precautions against the cold.

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

There is good news for people in the Delhi-NCR region who are struggling with pollution. According to the Indian Meteorological Department's forecast, the weather in the NCR is going to change after January 23, which may lead to a significant improvement in air quality. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds, which will help clear pollutant particles from the air. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in the NCR on January 23 is likely to be around 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 10 degrees Celsius.

What is the weather report for Punjab and Haryana?

Several parts of Punjab and Haryana continued to experience intense cold and cold wave conditions on Wednesday. This information was given by the Meteorological Department in Chandigarh. The Indian Meteorological Department said that Faridkot in Punjab was the coldest place, where the minimum temperature was recorded at three degrees Celsius. 

Amritsar also continued to experience intense cold, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 3.3 degrees Celsius, while in Bathinda it was 3.8 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Chandigarh, the joint capital of both states, was recorded at 5.3 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain cold in the coming days as well. 

How will the Western Disturbance impact Rajasthan?

Due to the influence of a new Western Disturbance, the weather in Rajasthan is also expected to change this week. The Meteorological Department says that light to moderate rainfall is possible in some parts of the state. There is a strong possibility of a new and powerful Western Disturbance becoming active in some parts of the state between January 22 and 24, bringing winter rains. Another Western Disturbance will be effective between January 26 and 28. The Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rainfall is possible in some parts of the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions and the Shekhawati region on January 22.

What is the weather bulletin for Kashmir?

Minimum temperatures have improved in most places in Kashmir, while the long spell of dry weather in the valley's plains is showing signs of ending. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and widespread snowfall in the coming week. The weather system could end the long spell of dry weather in the plains of Kashmir. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate snowfall in the plains, including Srinagar. This may also disrupt ground and air traffic.
