New Delhi: Significant weather changes are expected in several parts of the country in the coming days. Over the next 2 to 3 days, strong winds and rain are likely in many states in both northern and southern India. A warning has been issued for thunderstorms and rain in several regions between January 22 and 24, including Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Cold winds, fog, and a cold wave are expected to intensify the cold in North India.

What is weather prediction for hilly states?

Due to the influence of a Western Disturbance, the weather is also likely to change in the hilly regions. Rain and snowfall are expected in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Dense fog in some areas may affect visibility, causing difficulties in transportation.

Will rain relief hit Rajasthan?

On January 23, rain with strong winds and hailstorms are possible in the Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, and Bikaner divisions. Additionally, another Western Disturbance is expected to bring further weather changes between January 27 and 28. During this period, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 5 degrees Celsius.

What will the weather be like in Delhi-NCR?

There are indications of strong winds and rain in Delhi and surrounding areas within the next 24 hours. The strong winds may lead to some improvement in air quality. Cloudy conditions, thunderstorms, and light rain are likely to persist for the next two days. The temperature is expected to range between 6 and 25 degrees Celsius, while cold and fog may be a concern during the morning and evening hours.
