According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, widespread impact of rain can be seen from the plains of North India to Central India and eastern parts. There is a possibility of thunderstorm with heavy rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. There may be rain with thunder in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The weather will also change in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha.

The weather may change suddenly in Delhi-NCR on September 2. Here, heavy rains along with strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are expected. The maximum temperature can be around 31 degrees and the minimum can be 26 degrees Celsius.

In West Bengal, moderate to heavy rain is expected in many areas including Malda, Bankura, Murshidabad, Kolkata, Birbhum, Nadia, Kalimpong, Durgapur, Howrah and Jalpaiguri. Here the wind can blow at a speed of 65 to 70 kilometers per hour.

What is the weather condition in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh?

There is a warning of heavy rain and thunderstorm in Tonk, Ajmer, Alwar, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Barmer, Bharatpur, Kota, Dungarpur, Phalodi, Didwana, Jodhpur and Pali of Rajasthan. The wind speed can range from 45 to 50 kilometers per hour.

Why is there alert of storm and rain in Punjab and Haryana also?
