Maharashtra News: A Mumbai court has ruled that the firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khans Bandra residence in April 2023 was carried out with the intention or knowledge of killing him. One of the accused, Vicky Gupta, was denied bail by Special MCOCA Judge BD Shelke, who referenced the involvement of Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in the crime.Firing near Salman Khans Bandra homeThe court order highlighted that on April 14, Gupta, along with his associate Sagar Pal, fired shots near Khans Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra West. The attack was said to be orchestrated under Anmol Bishnois direction. Judge Shelke pointed out that the FIR and Salman Khans statement indicate that the shots were aimed at the first floor of his home, where the actor frequently spends time greeting fans.“The shots were fired in the direction of the place Salman Khan regularly uses in his house,” the court noted. This, combined with a call recording transcript between Gupta and Anmol Bishnoi, was enough for the court to believe the attack was premeditated.Instigation by Anmol BishnoiThe court further elaborated on the involvement of Anmol Bishnoi, who allegedly directed the shooters to commit the attack. Bishnoi, the younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, is said to be involved in the gangs criminal operations. Both brothers have a history of organized crimes, with threats made against Salman Khan being linked to a revenge plan for the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Anmol Bishnoi, like his elder brother, is believed to have targeted Khan due to the Bishnoi communitys reverence for blackbucks.
