Jyoti Malhotra
National News: What people thought was a travel vlogger and social media star, had actually become the eyes and ears of Pakistan. YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, popularly known as 'Travel with Joe', is now behind bars on charges of treason. Initial investigations have revealed that she was not only spying for Pakistan, but she had direct links with three agents of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.
This girl, who lived in a 55-yard house in Hisar, Haryana, used to fly first class, stay in five star hotels and roam around foreign lands comfortably. How does a normal YouTuber spend so much money? Now the answer is out. Her luxurious life was going on with the blessings of 'special' people of Pakistan.
According to police sources, Jyoti met Danish, an official of the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi in 2023. The friendship grew, and from there began the path of espionage. This Danish, who was recently expelled from India, made all the arrangements for Jyoti's visit to Pakistan visa, hotel, even VIP entry in the 'get together'.
Jyoti was connected to not just one but three Pakistani agents Danish, Shakir and Rana Shahbaz. She used encrypted apps like WhatsApp, Telegram and Snapchat to communicate with them. Her codename was "Jatt Randhawa" so that she would not get caught.
During interrogation, Jyoti admitted that she sent information related to some sensitive areas and programs of India to Pakistan. Not only this, she visited Bali with a Pakistani official in April 2025. From there, she posted a photo on Instagram. The caption was, "Randhawa ji said - Billo Teri Aankh Murder."
Her social media accounts were not just travel vlogs, but had become a means of preparing anti-India soft targets. She was influencing 3.2 lakh subscribers on YouTube and more than 13 lakh followers on Instagram in her own way.
During her visit to Pakistan, Jyoti also met a person named Ali Ehsan, who directly introduced her to the officers of the Pakistani intelligence agency. Now her digital devices and banking transactions are being thoroughly investigated.
Jyoti is currently in police custody for five days, but the investigating agencies suspect that this is just the beginning.
