Sports News: Vaibhav Suryavanshi is already India's youngest sensation. His heroics in the IPL and the recently concluded youth ODI series against England have been the ones to remember for long. The young opening left-handed batter was once again in the spotlight ahead of the youth test series against the same team, starting July 12. Two girls, named Aanya and Rivaa, drove six hours to Worcester just to meet their hero, Vaibhav. The stylish 14-year-old batter has already started to impress fans with his masterful heroics. Earlier this year, he became the youngest and the fastest Indian to smash an IPL century.
Aanya and Rivaa, who themselves are as old as Vaibhva, drove all the way to Worcester to meet the batting sensation. What's more interesting was that the girls were seen wearing Rajasthan Royals jerseys, which is also the IPL team of Vaibhav. The franchise posted Vaibhav's photograph with the two fans on social media. The two girls passionately supported their hero and Team India.
The star performer for India U-19 was definitely the southpaw from Bihar, Vaibhav Suryavanshi. In the fourth ODI, the batter scored the fastest hundred in a youth ODI, which came in just 52 balls. He also broke the decade-old record of Sarfaraz Khan. His heroics helped India seal a 3-2 win in the series, despite losing the fifth ODI.
After a commendable performance in the white ball format, the visitors will now face the challenge of red ball in a two-match test series that is set to begin on July 12. Vaibhav's form will be very crucial for the India U-19. It will be interesting to see Vaibhav's approach—whether he opts for a defensive one or continues to dazzle with his aggressive intent.
