Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devjit Saikia said on Sunday night that the Indian women's team that wins the World Cup will be given a cash prize of Rs 51 crore. He said, "Our daughters have brought glory to India. They have proved that if there is courage and passion, any dream can become a reality. This award is for their dedication and hard work."

According to sources, this reward from BCCI will be divided equally among all the players, coaching staff, and support team. Along with this, preparations are also going on to honor the players in a special felicitation ceremony. Top officials of the board are planning to organize a grand event in Mumbai next week, to which Prime Minister Narendra Modi may also be invited.
