Novak Djokovic’s recent win at Wimbledon 2025 was not only a moment of triumph on the court but also brought a heartwarming moment in the stands. After securing a straight-set victory over fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic, Djokovic’s daughter delighted fans by copying her father's new celebration.

A Sweet Family Tradition Unfolds on Court

After defeating Kecmanovic 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 in the third round, Djokovic introduced a fresh victory move—pumping his fists downwards and side to side. As he explained the routine, he pointed to the stands, where his daughter mirrored his dance steps perfectly, making the crowd cheer even louder.

"There's a song we sing at home, and this is part of it," Djokovic said. "My daughter knows the moves better than I do," he laughed, watching her demonstrate from the box. "It's a small tradition we started, and I hope we can keep doing it as long as I stay in the tournament."

Djokovic earns 100th Wimbledon match win

Alongside the joyful family moment, Djokovic reached a major career achievement. He became only the third player in Wimbledon history to reach 100 match wins, joining tennis legends Roger Federer and Martina Navratilova in this elite group.

"Every time I break a record here, I feel truly grateful," said Djokovic, reflecting on his accomplishment at the tournament he calls his favourite.

Smooth Victory in the Third Round

On the court, Djokovic showed complete control. After a tight start with both players locked at 3-3 in the first set, Djokovic won nine games in a row. He didn’t drop a single game in the second set and went up 2-0 in the third. Though Kecmanovic fought back to win three straight games, Djokovic closed it out without letting the match slip away.

As Djokovic moves into the fourth round, fans are eager to see both his performances and his daughter’s charming victory dances continue at Wimbledon.
