IPL 2024: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have reignited their hopes for the IPL 2024 playoffs after a resounding win against the Gujarat Titans. The glorious win propelled Faf du Plessis-led RCB to the 7th position in the points table. Officially they are not out of their quest to win the Indian Premier League's trophy. The recent surge has put Virat Kohli and co to back in contention for a top 4 finish. Here are the conditions that can clear the routes for the playoffs:

Condition 1: Winning Streak

RCB must maintain an unbeaten streak by winning all three remaining matches in the league stage. With three consecutive victories, they would accumulate 14 points, enhancing their chances for qualification.

Condition 2: Rival Teams' Performance

In addition to their wins, RCB needs rival teams like Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants to falter, ensuring they don't secure more than one win each in their upcoming matches.

Condition 3: Competitors' Win Limit

RCB's path to the playoffs also relies on limiting the victories of teams like Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals, ensuring they don't exceed two wins in their remaining fixtures.

Condition 4: Competitors' Performance

The Punjab Kings, another contender for the top 4, should not win all of their remaining games, allowing RCB to maintain their edge in the race.

A single loss in any of their upcoming matches could derail RCB's campaign. Therefore, not only is winning imperative but doing so with a significant margin will boost their Net Run Rate (NRR), further enhancing their chances of playoff qualification.
