Rishabh Pant Breaks Viv Richards’ Record, Sets New Benchmark at Lord’s

Sports News: The third match of the 5-test match series between India and England is being played at the historic Lord's Stadium, where the aggressive play of the Indian batsmen was seen. In this match, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant created history and registered a big record in his name. Pant has set the record for hitting the most sixes in Test cricket against England. So far, he has hit 35 sixes against England, surpassing West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards, who had 34 sixes to his name.

With this achievement, Pant has brought forth a new mindset and confidence in Test cricket, where aggressive batting is also matching with sustainable performance. 

In the list of batsmen who hit the most sixes in Tests against England, Rishabh Pant (35) is at the top, Viv Richards (34) is in second place, Tim Southee (30) is in third place, Yashasvi Jaiswal (27) is in fourth place, and Shubman Gill (26) is in fifth place.
