Colombo: The T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan is being played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday. Batting first in the T20 World Cup match against Pakistan at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, India scored 175 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Ishan Kishan top-scored for India with 77 runs.
The Indian team, batting first, suffered a major setback in the very first over. Opener Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for no score. Captain Salman Ali Agha dismissed him. India scored 52 runs for the loss of one wicket in the powerplay. Ishan Kishan scored a half-century in 27 balls. Ishan Kishan played an innings of 77 runs in 40 balls, hitting 10 fours and three sixes. Usman Tariq was given the opportunity to bowl in the 11th over and conceded 6 runs in his first over. Tilak Verma could only manage 25 runs in 24 balls. Hardik Pandya was caught out trying to hit a big shot on the very first ball. Suryakumar Yadav contributed 32 runs from 29 balls.
