World Cup 2023 IND vs AUS: Rahul hits slowest fifty in Ahmedabad

India's wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul registered the slowest half-century of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 during the final clash against the arch-rivals Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson’s 81-ball fifty against Bangladesh is at number two at the M.A. Chidambaram in Chennai.

Rahul, who came in at 81/3 in the 11th over, scored a fighting fifty in 86 deliveries to keep India in the hunt for a third World Cup title. However, the Indian batter was dismissed after scoring 66 runs off 107 deliveries. He was dismissed by Mitchell Strac.

Earlier in the innings, Pat Cummins won the toss and invited Rohit's men to bat first.
