Bihar Elections 2025: Major Parties to Contest All 243 Seats, Triggering Political Turmoil in State (Image: TopIndianNews)
Preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 have now gained momentum. While the discussion of seat sharing between NDA and Mahagathbandhan has started, on the other hand, four such parties and leaders have come forward who have directly announced that they will contest on all 243 assembly seats in the state. This move could trigger a major upheaval in Bihar politics and deal a serious blow to the strategies of both major alliances.
Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader and Union Minister Chirag Paswan announced in a rally in Arrah that his party will contest 243 seats. He repeated the slogan 'Bihar First, Bihari First' and also hinted at contesting the assembly elections himself. However, this statement is creating a stir within the NDA, as instead of seat sharing, he has announced he will contest in the entire state.
Plurals Party president Pushpam Priya Chaudhary, who came into the limelight in 2020, is once again preparing to contest full front elections in the entire Bihar. She clearly said that this time too she will not form an alliance with any political party and will enter the electoral fray to give new leadership to Bihar.
Prashant Kishore (PK)
Election strategist turned leader Prashant Kishore (PK) made it clear through his Jan Suraj Party that his party will contest from every seat in Bihar. He said, 'Neither before nor after – there will be no alliance with anyone.' His goal is to change the politics of Bihar with a new option and thinking.
Former IPS officer Shivdeep Lande has also announced his entry into politics. He has formed a party named 'Hind Sena' and has said that he will field candidates on 243 seats. Shivdeep Lande is continuously running a campaign to connect with the youth and is touring the state. He claims that his party is engaged in strong preparations at the organisational.
