Ghaziabad: Tension Grips Khoda After Class 11 Student Stabbed to Death
Khoda in Ghaziabad remained tense on Saturday. Markets stayed shut for the second straight day. Workers from Hindu organisations reached the area in large numbers.

Demands of Surya's parents?

The family of the victim, Surya, is refusing to perform his last rites. They want an encounter of the accused first. They are also demanding bulldozer action on the accused's property.

Why the Dispute?

The dispute started over a bike. Accused Asad had recently bought a new motorcycle. Surya asked to ride it. Asad refused. An argument broke out. Asad then stabbed Surya multiple times.

What's Next?

Police have arrested three accused so far in the case. Surya's body reached home after post-mortem around 2 pm. A large crowd had gathered outside the house. The family stood firm on their demand.

Senior officers said forces from multiple police stations have been deployed in Khoda. ACP Indirapuram Abhishek Srivastava said all steps are being taken to maintain law and order.
Hindu Raksha Dal national president Pinky Chaudhary attempted to reach Khoda. Police placed him under house arrest before he could leave.
The situation remains tense. Police are keeping a close watch.
