Rahul Gandhi Climbs Barricade During Delhi Protest, Reaches Akashvani Bhawan With Priyanka

New Delhi: During the protest in the capital Delhi, the movement of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi looked like a film scene when Rahul climbed the barricade installed at the protest site. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, who were present among the protesters, proceeded from there and reached the premises of Akashvani Bhawan.

After reaching inside Akashvani Bhavan, both the leaders started dharna by sitting on a platform under a tree. This sudden turn of events increased the commotion between the security personnel present at the spot and the protesters. The protest which was visible around the roads and barricades till some time ago, soon reached inside the All India Radio complex.

Barricade became the first stop of the movement

During the demonstration, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi reached near the barricade first. After this Rahul climbed the barricades, enthusiasm was visible among the supporters and protesters present with him. The sudden change in the situation became challenging even for the soldiers handling the security arrangements.

Expressed protest by sitting in the shade of a tree

After reaching Akashvani Bhawan premises, instead of any stage or special place, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi made the platform under the shade of a tree the place of protest. Both the leaders sat there and registered their protest. The whole incident gave a different scene to the demonstration, first the barricading, then the attempt to cross it and finally the protest in the shade of the tree inside the campus.
