Update (November 15, 2:34 PM): Thirty-six people died and 19 others were injured after a bus fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmirs Doda on Wednesday.Union Minister Jitendra Singh confirmed in a post on X about the 36 deaths and said that out those injured six people were said to be in a critical condition. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his condolences and in a statement on X said that the local administration is actively engaged in the rescue operation at the site of the accident.Saddened to share the update from DC Doda Harvinder Singh from the spot of the accident. Reportedly, the bus was carrying 55 passengers.
