Agarwal Community to Celebrate Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti with Great Enthusiasm on October 11: Pramod Bansal (Rimpi Jindal)

Ratia: To mark the beginning of Sharad Navratri, the Agarwal Sabha, Ratia, will celebrate the birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen, a source of inspiration for socialism and cooperation, on Sunday, October 11. The event will be held at the Agarwal Dharamshala in the Main Market with great enthusiasm, reverence, and devotion.

Providing details about the event, Sabha President Pramod Bansal stated that the celebrations will commence at 8:30 AM on October 11 with a Havan-Yajna accompanied by the chanting of Vedic mantras. During the Yajna, distinguished members of the community, women, and the youth will offer oblations while praying for world peace, community unity, and the prosperity of the town. Following the Yajna, sacred *Prasad* will be distributed among all the devotees. After the ritual, a floral tribute will be paid to the grand statue of Maharaja Agrasen at Agrasen Chowk, and a pledge will be taken to follow his ideals.

President Pramod Bansal remarked that Maharaja Agrasen laid the foundation of an egalitarian society through his divine message of "one rupee and one brick." His principles of sacrifice, equality, and altruism remain a source of inspiration even in the modern era. The primary objective of this celebration is to connect the younger generation with his ideals and to further strengthen social unity.

The Agarwal Sabha has called upon all members of the Agarwal community to attend the program with their families and partake in the spiritual merit of the occasion.
