Haryana: At Shri Krishna Gaushala in Ratia, the Shri Krishna Gaushala Committee organised a week-long Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya during Pitru Paksha for the welfare of cows. The religious programme was held under the blessings of Sant Baba Babu Ram Ji of Duggal and Sant Baba Karam Chand Ji of Bachhuana, and under the pious guidance of Sant Shiromani Shri Narayan Muni Ji.
On the fifth day of the Bhagwat Katha, Acharya Shri Ram Sevak Shastri Ji of Kalwana, who was seated on the Vyas Peeth, narrated the episode of Bal Krishna and Lord Shankar. He said that Lord Shiva descended from Mount Kailash to the earthly realm to have darshan of Lord Krishna in his childhood form. The devotional bhajan sung by him, “Maiya Daras Karade Nandlal De Yogi Aaya Duro Chal Ke”, deeply moved the devotees present.
Continuing his discourse, renowned storyteller Acharya Shri Ram Sevak Shastri Ji said that religious scriptures provide direction in life. They help a person understand the difference between good and evil and develop the wisdom to make the right decisions in life.
He said that a person should perform his duties without being attached to the desire for results. God can never be attained through wealth and material possessions; He can be attained only through love and devotion.
On the occasion, members of the Shri Krishna Gaushala Committee and the Mahila Mandal, along with members of various religious and social organisations and a large number of devotees, received blessings from Shastri Ji and listened to the Bhagwat Katha with devotion.
