Haryana: The Haryana government has sanctioned and released ₹2.31 crore for paving unpaved roads leading to agricultural fields and dhanis (farm settlements) in various villages of the Ratia Assembly constituency. The funds have been allocated under the Khet-Khalihan Scheme of the Haryana Rural Development Plan 2026-27 to improve transportation facilities in rural areas.

Former MLA Laxman Napa said that he had raised the demand before Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to pave the unpaved roads connecting farms and dhanis in different villages of the Ratia area. Taking cognisance of the demand, the Chief Minister sanctioned funds for development works under the Haryana Rural Development Plan.

Laxman Napa expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for approving the demand and releasing funds for the development works. He said that once these roads are paved, farmers and villagers will have easier access to their fields and dhanis. It will also facilitate transportation for agricultural activities and strengthen basic infrastructure in rural areas.

He said better roads and connectivity in rural areas are important for farmers' convenience and the development of villages. The availability of paved roads to fields and dhanis will particularly benefit villagers and provide relief from difficulties faced during daily travel.

Laxman Napa said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana government is working through various schemes to promote rural development, farmers' welfare and public amenities. Development projects are being continuously accelerated to strengthen infrastructure in rural areas.
