Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation Chairman Inspects Departmental Stalls (Rimpi Jindal)
Ratia: A Seva Setu camp was organised in Hadoli village under the Haryana government’s Seva Sankalp campaign to provide rural residents with information about welfare schemes, social security benefits and government services.
Baldev Singh Groha, chairman of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation, attended the camp as the chief guest. Around 230 villagers participated in the event and accessed information about various government schemes and services. Additionally, two women were registered under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana.
During the camp, Baldev Singh Groha inspected stalls set up by various government departments and sought information from officials about the services and schemes being offered.
He directed officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries so that no needy family is deprived of welfare assistance.
Groha said the primary objective of Seva Setu camps was to bring government schemes and services closer to the public. Such camps enable villagers to access information about multiple departmental schemes at a single location, reducing the need for unnecessary visits to government offices.
He added that the initiative saves people’s time and makes it easier to address their grievances.
The chairman urged officials and employees to listen carefully to villagers’ concerns and work promptly to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government schemes.
He emphasised identifying poor, needy and eligible families and connecting them with appropriate welfare programmes.
During the camp, villagers were also informed about departmental services, social security schemes and eligibility requirements.
Through the Seva Sankalp campaign, the Haryana government aims to ensure that welfare schemes reach the last person in the queue while improving the accessibility and convenience of government services in rural areas.
The camp in Hadoli helped residents learn about various schemes and connect with government services.
Among those present were District Social Welfare Officer Vinod Chawla, BDPO Vikas Langyan, SDO Ashok Pannu, Sarpanch representative Nachhattar Singh, BJP district secretary Nirmal Singh, District Grievance Committee member Rajender Kaur, Ajeb Singh, member Sita Ram and Simarjeet Singh, among others.
