New Delhi: A major twist has emerged in the Tisha Sharma suicide case. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the government has now recommended a CBI investigation. After this decision of the government, the country's biggest investigating agency will get to the bottom of this entire suicide mystery. At the same time, Tisha Sharma's family and her lawyers have started preparing for strict legal action against the accused.

Was the family continuously raising the demand for a fair investigation?

Twinsha Sharma's family alleges that efforts were being made to influence the investigation of the case right from the beginning. The family had raised questions on the local police investigation and demanded an investigation by an independent agency. The father of the deceased had also raised serious questions regarding the post-mortem process and evidence. The family said that they no longer have faith in the investigating agencies and an external agency is needed to bring out the truth.

Are there serious allegations against the husband and mother-in-law?

Police have registered a case against Twisha's husband Samarth Singh and mother-in-law Giribala Singh under sections related to dowry harassment and dowry death. Samarth Singh is said to be absconding at present and the police has also announced a reward for his arrest. Whereas Giribala Singh has been a retired district judge, due to which the family is constantly fearing that the investigation will be affected.

Are questions also raised on postmortem report and CCTV footage?

There is also controversy regarding the CCTV footage and post-mortem report that emerged in the case. Some reports claimed that Twisha was last seen heading towards the terrace of the house. Police say that in the initial investigation it seems to be a case of suicide. On the other hand, the family is calling it a suspicious death and has demanded a second post-mortem. However, the Bhopal court had refused to allow the second post-mortem.

Has the pressure also increased at the political level?

After the matter gained momentum, the demand for a CBI investigation intensified even at the political level. Congress MP and senior advocate Vivek Tankha had written a letter to the Union Home Minister and the Chief Minister demanding a fair investigation. He had said that due to the involvement of influential people in the case, an independent investigation is very important. After this, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had also assured the family of a fair investigation.

Will CBI now investigate the entire matter?

After the recommendation of the state government, now the final decision will be taken at the level of the central government and CBI. If approval is received from the Centre, then the country's largest investigating agency can take over the investigation of the entire matter. At present, the entire country is keeping an eye on this case and the demand for justice is continuously being raised on social media also.
