Old School Video Row: Arvind Kejriwal Defends Punjab Government, Says Education AAP’s Top Priority (AAP)
New Delhi/Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal hit back at an attempt to malign the Bhagwant Mann Government after an old video of a Punjab government school was circulated on social media. Sharing a video of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains visiting the school to verify the situation on the ground, he said education and healthcare remain the Aam Aadmi Party’s top priorities, and the minister’s immediate visit was a reflection of that commitment.
The AAP Chief said the AAP had first transformed government schools in Delhi and was now undertaking the same work in Punjab. He said basic facilities had been provided in most government schools across Punjab, with the remaining schools also set to receive them soon. As a result, several Punjab government schools are now competing with leading private schools in terms of both educational quality and facilities.
