Punjab BJP Names New Office Bearers; Kewal Singh Dhillon Announces Key Posts

Chandigarh: With the approval of BJP National President Nitin Nabin, state party President Kewal Singh Dhillon on Sunday announced the new state office bearers of the Punjab unit. These appointments are aimed at further strengthening the organization in the state and empowering the party for its upcoming organizational and political activities.

Who got the responsibility of state vice president?

Surjit Kumar Jyani (Fazilka), Rakesh Rathour (Jalandhar), Subhash Sharma (SAS Nagar), Sardar Manjit Singh Rai (Ferozepur), Ashwani Sekhri (Batala), Sushil Rinku (Jalandhar), Geja Ram Valmiki (Fatehgarh Sahib), Sardar Tejinder Singh Bittu (Jalandhar), Jasmine Sandhawalia (Kapurthala), Jatinder Mittal (Ludhiana), Sardar Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon (Gurdaspur) and Ranjit Singh Gill (Mohali) have been appointed as State Vice Presidents.

Anil Sarin (Ludhiana), Rajesh Bagha (Jalandhar), Parminder Singh Brar (Mohali), Rajnish Dhiman (Ludhiana) and Jiwan Garg (Sangrur) have been given the responsibility as state general secretaries.

Who got the post of the state minister?

Sardar Manjit Singh Manna (Amritsar), Mangat Rai Bansal (Mansa), Rakesh Sharma (Pathankot), Suraj Bhardwaj (Amritsar), Vandana Sangwal (Fazilka), Meenu Sethi (Hoshiarpur), Ranjam Kamra (Fazilka), Sardar Charanjeet Singh Brar (Fazilka), Kamalpreet Kaur Chaudhary (Jalandhar), Meena Tarnaich (Pathankot), Sardar Amarjit Singh Amri (Ludhiana) and Ekta Nagpal (Mohali) have been appointed as State Ministers.

Under organisational responsibilities, Gurdev Sharma (Debi) (Ludhiana) has been appointed as State Treasurer, Sardar Sukhwinder Singh Goldy (Mohali) as State Co-Treasurer, Khushwant Rai Giga (Mohali) and Sanjeev Khanna (Mohali) as State Protocol Secretaries and Sukhwinder Singh Parmar (Mohali) as State Office Secretary.

What about digital and communication cell?

To strengthen the digital and communications cell, Kanwar Inderjit Singh (Mohali) has been appointed as the state IT coordinator, and Ajay Arora (Amritsar) as the state social media coordinator. New appointments have also been made for various party fronts. Anuj Khosla (Patiala) has been appointed as the state president, Youth Front, Biba Jai  Inder Kaur (Patiala) as the state president, Women's Front, Sardar Lakhwinder Singh (Ferozepur) as the state president, Kisan Morcha, Sheetal Angural (Jalandhar) as the state president, Scheduled Caste Morcha, and Shivraj Chaudhary (Fazilka) as the state president, OBC Morcha.
