Punjab: Law College student shoots female classmate dead inside classroom, then kills himself (X)
Tarn Taran: A law college student on Monday allegedly shot dead a woman classmate in Punjab's Tarn Taran district before shooting himself with the same weapon, police said.
The incident, which occurred at Mai Bhago Law College in Usma, was captured on the classroom's CCTV camera.
The accused was identified as Prince Raj, a resident of Mallian village, while the woman was identified as Sandeep Kaur, of Naushehra Pannuan.
The police said that both were first-year students of the law college located at Usma village in Tarn Taran.
In the CCTV footage, Prince Raj and Sandeep Kaur can be seen walking into the classroom with another woman classmate.
The three were talking while seating at the back of the classroom. Later in the video, Prince Raj can be seen pulling out a gun and shooting Sandeep Kaur in the classroom. Thereafter, he shot himself with the same weapon in the classroom.
The police said that the woman died on the spot while Price was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The main motive behind the murder and suicide was not immediately known.
Police said that as part of the investigation, footage from CCTV cameras is being examined.
