Firing Erupts During Plot Boundary Dispute, People Hide Behind Bricks To Save Their Lives

Mathura: Armed people opened fire fiercely in a dispute regarding the boundary of a plot in village Bajna of Thana Highway area. The firing in broad daylight created panic in the village. The number of attackers is said to be around 10 to 15. A 1 minute 19 second video of the incident is going viral on social media. In this, some people are seen holding weapons in their hands, while people from the victim's side are seen hiding under the cover of bricks to avoid the firing.

Deepak Gautam, resident of Bajna village, was getting construction work done on his plot. Meanwhile, some people reached there and started opposing the construction work. Within no time the dispute escalated and there was tension between the two sides. It is alleged that the armed attackers started firing on the people present there with the intention of killing them. The sudden firing created a stampede on the spot. People were seen running here and there to save their lives.

In the viral video, many people are seen with pistols and pistols in their hands. The sound of firing is also heard in the video. People from the victim's side are seen saving their lives by hiding behind the brick wall. There is an atmosphere of tension in the village after the incident.

SP City Rajeev Kumar Singh said that the police was informed by Deepak Gautam that some people created obstruction while the construction work was being done on the plot. Preliminary investigation has revealed a land dispute regarding possession of Chakroad. On the basis of Deepak's complaint, a case has been registered against seven named accused under relevant sections including attempt to murder.

According to SP City, a police team has been formed to arrest the accused. Instructions have been given to ensure his immediate arrest. In view of the land dispute, police personnel have been deployed on duty to maintain peace. Police are investigating the case on the basis of viral video and other evidence related to the incident site.
