The BJP has inducted Samajwadi Party MLA Pooja Pal into its team and announced her as the new state vice president of Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, Priyanka Rawat, a prominent leader from Barabanki, has also received a major promotion. The party has removed Priyanka Rawat from her previous position as general secretary and assigned her the new and significant responsibility of state vice president.
This new organizational reshuffle within the party clearly reflects a significant effort to fully address the complex caste dynamics and social engineering of Uttar Pradesh. By promoting leaders like Priyanka Rawat, the BJP leadership has focused on those groups who have long provided effective leadership to the Dalit community, giving the party a strong advantage in the upcoming general elections.
The top leadership has once again reposed great confidence in Sanjay Rai, who had previously handled the organisation, and has once again entrusted him with the responsibility of the post of State General Secretary. Along with him, MLA Rajesh Chaudhary has also been appointed as the new State General Secretary and has been entrusted with the organisational work.
At the same time, to connect the youth with the mainstream of the party and to sharpen the future strategy, Rohit Mishra has been made the new state president of the youth front, so that along with the youth, all the caste equations can be completely resolved at the ground level.
