Vrindavan: A public grievance redressal camp was organized today in Vrindavan, Mathura, where Mathura Lok Sabha MP and renowned actress Hema Malini was present to interact directly with the public. A large number of people arrived at the camp with their problems and complaints.
The MP listened to each complainant individually and instructed the officers of the concerned departments to resolve the complaints quickly and effectively. During the public hearing, Hema Malini clearly stated that no negligence in resolving public problems would be tolerated. She instructed the officials in a firm tone, saying that the purpose of the public hearing camp is not merely a formality, but to ensure that problems are resolved on the spot.
Complaints related to electricity, water, roads, housing, pensions, rations, health, and the municipal corporation were prominently raised at the camp.

On this occasion, beneficiaries of various welfare schemes of the central and state governments were distributed sewing machines, blankets, and other essential items. Seeing the blankets, given the cold weather, the beneficiaries' faces lit up with joy. The MP said that the government's intention is to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the needy directly and that no eligible person is left out.

In her address, MP Hema Malini said that the MP's public grievance redressal camp, initiated by the government, is an effective means of reaching out to people, listening to their problems, and resolving them. Officials from all departments are present at this camp, making it possible to resolve problems immediately. She said that these camps are being organized so that people do not have to repeatedly visit government offices.
A special camp was also set up by the Election Department at the venue, where matters related to the voter list were addressed. The MP said that this camp is very useful for voters whose names have been removed from the voter list or for adding the names of new voters. She said that during elections, people often face problems finding their or their family members' names on the voter list, and therefore, the Election Department has been included in the camp to provide a permanent solution to this problem.

The event also witnessed an emotional moment when an elderly woman shared her difficulties with the Member of Parliament during the blanket distribution. Hearing the woman's plight, Hema Malini became emotional and hugged the elderly woman, offering her comfort. This scene moved everyone present. After many days, a genuine smile was seen on Hema Malini's face, which brought a sense of relief and warmth to the people.
The public grievance redressal camp was attended by senior officials of the district administration, employees from various departments, and a large number of local residents. Overall, the camp appeared to serve as a bridge between the public and the administration, where concrete steps were taken towards resolving problems.
