Rampur: A shocking case of fraud in the name of marriage has come to light in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. A young man has alleged that the woman with whom he got married took the family into confidence by calling herself Riya Gupta. The woman's real identity came to light just two days after the marriage. Investigation revealed that her name is Yasmin and she is already married. On receiving the complaint about the matter, the police arrested the accused woman and sent her to jail, while the search is on for two other people who arranged the marriage.

According to the victim youth Puneet, the family was looking for a relationship for him. During this time, some people told about the relationship of a girl. The youth alleges that he was told that the girl's name is Riya Gupta and she is a resident of Haridwar area of Uttarakhand. The people who arranged the marriage demanded Rs 1 lakh in return for making complete arrangements. After paying the amount, the family got both of them married on June 11.

The young man says that everything was normal for the first two days after the marriage. On the third day, the woman said that she was not feeling well and asked to be taken to the doctor. After this her behavior started changing. During this time, some incidents put the family in doubt. Later, when the documents were examined, a big revelation was revealed regarding the identity of the woman.

The family alleges that the woman had hidden her real identity. Her name was found to be Yasmin in the documents during the investigation. The young man claims that the Aadhar card and other information shown to him before marriage were not genuine. Later, the real identity of the woman was revealed from the documents present in the mobile phone.
