Viral Video: Woman Lay Down On The Road, Then Drove Through The Barricade With Her Car; Police Officers Watched In Disbelief

Maharashtra: In the process of sending off the Palkhi in Alandi, Pune district, where VIP security measures were being taken into account and traffic arrangements were made, a scene of high-voltage drama involving a woman was recorded by someone with a camera. She argued with the police and later lay down on the road and drove through the barricades.

What happened on the road?

In Alandi, Pune district of Maharashtra, a commotion was caused during the Palkhi departure ceremony where a woman made a major scene as a reaction to the police's traffic management system. Videos related to this incident are spreading fast on social media, depicting how the lady quarrelled with the police officials and later lay down on the road.

As per information, because of the departure of Palkhi and VIPs, the police department put up barricades on many roads and stopped vehicle movement for some time. In that process, a woman, who runs a driving school, tried to drive her car on the route of the Palkhi procession but was not allowed by the police because of security reasons.

Apparently, it seems like the woman got more and more agitated each time she was stopped by the police. First, she got into an altercation with the policemen and threatened that if she wasn't allowed to go, she would block the road. Later, she even lay down on the road.

The matter even escalated after that as the video further shows the woman getting back into her car and driving it toward the barricade. The impact of the car pushed the barricade aside, allowing her to drive through. Meanwhile, the police officers present at the scene continued trying to manage the situation.

After the video surfaced, Alandi Police began investigating the matter. The police are trying to identify the vehicle and are examining the entire sequence of events. According to Officials, after the investigation is complete, appropriate legal action will be taken against the woman in accordance with the law.
