After a man, identified as Pravesh Shukla, was arrested for allegedly urinating on a tribal man on camera, the Madhya Pradesh government initiated a bulldozer action to demolish the illegal properties of the accused. The accused is said to be associated with the ruling BJP government and the local party MLA, while he was being interrogated by the police on Tuesday night. However, the party has refuted all the links with him. BJP MP Kedarnath Shukla said that the accused wasnt associated with the BJP while condemning the latters act.In a statement, he said, “Pravesh Shukla, the person who was caught urinating on a tribals face, wasnt associated with the BJP.”Case filed against Pravesh ShuklaThe police have registered a case against the accused, Shukla under NSA (National Security Act), sections 294 and 504 of the IPC, as well as under provisions of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities). Whilst, Shukla is in police custody, his father Ramakant Shukla said that his son had been associated with the BJP for the last several years. He also claimed that a conspiracy was hatched to implicate his son in a fake case.Speaking to the media, Ramakant Shukla said, “I cant understand why MLA (BJP) Kedarnath Shukla said Pravesh isnt working for him. In fact, he is an MLA representative even at present. My son has been associated with the BJP and he was very close to Kedarnath Shukla for the last several years.”Meanwhile, Congress decided to stage a massive protest against this pee-gate act, calling it shameful.
