Lava Blaze Dragon 5G Debuts in India with Snapdragon Chip, 50MP Camera, and Affordable Price

Indian smartphone brand Lava has introduced its new 5G phone, the Lava Blaze Dragon 5G. This new model comes with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a large 5,000 mAh battery, and runs on stock Android 15. It also promises to receive the Android 16 update and two years of security patches.

The Lava Blaze Dragon 5G costsRs. 9,999 for the single variant that includes 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Customers can choose between Golden Mist and Midnight Mist colour options. The mobile phone will be sold exclusively on Amazon India, starting August 1 at midnight.

During Amazon’s Great Freedom Festival Sale, buyers can get a ₹1,000 discount using offers from partner banks. An extra Rs. 1,000 exchange bonus is also available. Lava will also offer free home service to its customers.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip and comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage. Users can expand RAM virtually by another 4 GB, improving multitasking. The phone runs on clean Android 15 and will get one big Android update and security updates for two years.

The phone has a 50-megapixel back camera with AI features for taking photos and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Powering the device is a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. For security, it offers both a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
