Reports say Oppo Reno 15C will feature a 6.59-inch OLED screen. The resolution is tipped to be 1.5K. Refresh rate is expected at 120Hz. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also mentioned. This combination targets gaming and streaming users. Brightness and colour accuracy will be key for this segment. Oppo seems to be positioning it as a premium mid-range panel.
The phone is rumoured to include a 50-megapixel main camera. Alongside it, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens is likely. A 50-megapixel telephoto sensor is also suggested. Reports link the primary sensor to Sony LYT-600. The ultra-wide could be IMX355, while the telephoto may use Samsung JN5. On the front, a 50-megapixel selfie camera is tipped, targeting content creators.
According to the listing, Oppo Reno 15C may run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. This places the phone in the upper mid-range category. The chip is designed for balanced performance and efficiency. It should handle multitasking and heavy apps comfortably. Oppo is likely pairing it with fast storage. This combo aims at users wanting smooth everyday performance.
The device is expected in 12GB RAM variants. Storage options may include 256GB and 512GB. This gives space for apps, photos and videos without quick filling. On the software side, it is tipped to ship with Android 16. Oppo’s ColorOS 16 will be layered on top. Users can expect custom features, themes and extra tools out of the box.
One of the headline features is the battery. Reports mention a 6,500mAh unit. This is larger than many rivals in its class. It is said to support 80W fast charging. Such speed can reduce plug-in time significantly. Heavy users and travellers are clear targets. Long screen time with quick top-ups is a strong selling point.
Leaks suggest an aluminium alloy frame. This indicates a more solid and premium feel. The phone is reportedly rated IP68/69. That means strong resistance against dust and water. Colour options could include Aurora Blue, College Blue and Starlight Bow. The design language seems focused on style plus durability. Oppo wants it to look and feel like a higher segment product.
The China Telecom listing points to a China launch around 19 December. Oppo had already introduced Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro earlier. The Reno 15C is likely the more affordable member of this family. It will first target Chinese buyers. Later, it may move to other markets if Oppo chooses. Official confirmation on global rollout is still awaited.
