Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra Surfaces Ahead Of Launch, Dimensity 9500 Chip Tipped

New Delhi: Samsung is preparing for the release of a tablet in India, and it will make headlines in the coming days. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra tablet has been listed on the Google Play Console database right after the Galaxy Tab S12+.

What is there in the list?

The listing doesn't reveal all the details of the upcoming gadget. But we will not receive any detailed specs right now, nor will we have the date of his launch. However, taking the clues, the tab will be available in multiple variants and Samsung is working on significant changes on the new Ultra model that will head the Galaxy Tab S12 lineup.

Until Samsung officially announces anything about the Galaxy Tab S12 series, it should be considered as a leak.

What are the three Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra models?

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is available in three different versions: two for cellular, labeled as SM-X946B and SM-X946N, and one for Wi-Fi, SM-X940. The two cellular models are geared up for 5G.

With multiple regional models, it's obvious that Samsung intends to bring the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra to several countries. However, at this stage, we don't know which ones will be available in India.

What about the chip?

Previously the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra appeared on Geekbench under the SM-X946B name. The leak revealed a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 CPU as the brains behind the whole device. This processor boasts an octa-core architecture with four efficiency cores clocked at 2.7GHz, three performance cores at 3.5GHz, and one prime core that can get up to 4.21GHz.

If so, the new Ultra will definitely be a serious contender to the previous version of the line.

Has Galaxy Tab S12+ already been spotted?

The Ultra sighting follows the Galaxy Tab S12+'s debut on the Google Play Console. S12+ comes in the India and global market variants of SM-X846B, SM-X848U for the US version, SM-X846E for Asia and SM-X846N for South Korea as Wi-Fi equipped models, with the number S12 being followed by a model letter.

A more basic Galaxy Tab S12 is also rumored to be coming. That means the new series may have three models, providing more options for buyers this year.

When will it launch?

Nothing has been revealed by Samsung about Galaxy Tab S12 series yet. So nobody knows the date of launching, whether the tablet will be available in India, the complete specifications of it, and its prices.

Now that both of the new Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra have joined the Google Play Console, it seems like Samsung's new tablets are not so far away.
