Twitter aka X breaks again, what can be possible reasons behind this?

Microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) hit a technical snag around 11 am on Thursday morning. Both the website and the mobile application showed 'Welcome to your timeline' instead of the regular tweets on the feed. 

The problem is global and not just specific to Indian users. It seems that the issue is affecting only visiblity of the tweets. So, users can create and post tweets but those tweets aren't visible to anyone at the moment. 

Why Twitter is down? 

Twitter can experience outages during peak usage times, especially when major news events are happening. The empty timelines and login usses could be due to the platform struggling to handle the traffic. Also, it is possible that Twitter is undergoing scheduled maintenance, which could explain the downtime.
