After the recent news of her being a minor surfaced, another shocking update has emerged regarding her. In a viral video on social media on Sunday, Monalisa's husband, Farman Khan claimed that she had gone missing and that he had come to Rajasthan to find her.
Farman Khan has released a video claiming that his wife, Monalisa, has gone missing, adding a new layer of mystery to the ongoing case.
In the viral video, Farman Khan can be heard saying that he had come to Jodhpur and would spend the entire day there finding her. He also appealed to people to inform him if they found her.
Monalisa married film actor Farman Khan on March 11 in a temple in Kerala, following Hindu rituals. The couple also confirmed their court marriage. Now, just days after their wedding, news of Monalisa's disappearance has caused a stir.
Farman Khan released a video on social media, pleading for help.
On Sunday, Farman Khan shared a video on social media, tearfully stating, "Monalisa and I had come to Pushkar in Ajmer. But now, she has left me and disappeared. Her family members have either forcibly taken her away or are hiding her."
It has already been established that Monalisa is a minor, and a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case has been registered against Farman.
The police suspect that Farman might be staging this 'disappearance' drama to evade legal action.
Monalisa’s mother, Lata Bhosle, has dismissed Farman’s allegations, stating that, "Farman has hatched this conspiracy to derail the police investigation and mislead the public."
"Daughter, please come home wherever you are. We and the government will stand by you. Do not be afraid of anyone's threats," she said.
Monalisa’s father had previously termed the marriage between Monalisa and Farman as 'Love Jihad.'
