New Delhi: In the early hours of April 25th, 2024, a significant accident occurred on NH44 near Dhone, approximately 65 kilometers away from Kurnool. Despite wearing seat belts, the vehicle flipped more than six times. Shockingly, the right and front airbags failed to deploy, exposing us to considerable risk. Fortunately, we sustained only minor injuries, though my confidence in the vehicle's safety features has been severely shaken.

The post which was apparently posted by car owner read that the matter concerning the safety features of the XUV 700 AX7 Petrol demands immediate attention from Automotive Mahindra Showroom, located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. On March 20th, 2024, we acquired a vehicle with the following details: Chassis No MA1NE2ZEAR6A40294, Engine/Motor No ZEP4M69550, owned by Jaradoddi Kiran.

Airbag failed to deploy

Upon inspection post-accident, it was alarming to discover that only the left curtain airbags had deployed, while the crucial front and right airbags remained inactive. This raises serious doubts about the effectiveness and reliability of the safety mechanisms endorsed by your brand.

As a discerning customer who specifically selected the XUV 700 AX7 Petrol for its acclaimed safety features, this incident has sparked deep concern. Not only for my safety but also for the well-being of my family members who frequently accompany me on journeys.

In his post he urged the manufacturer to recognize the gravity of this situation and prioritize the assurance of utmost safety for both drivers and passengers. He wrote, "Since, I respectfully request a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the airbag failure in my accident. Additionally, I implore you to take necessary steps to rectify any potential flaws or defects in the safety systems of the XUV 700 AX7 Petrol."
