Authentic or Edited? Something mysterious spotted at Rashtrapati Bhavan during oath ceremony | WATCH

Amid the grand and VIP-lit oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and new cabinet ministers, an uninvited guest was spotted at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday. 

A surprising short video clip has surfaced on social media which has caught the attention of netizens. In the video, an animal can be seen roaming in the corridors of the building, while one of the union ministers Durgadas Uikey, also known as DD Uikey was taking oath.

In the video, the animal can be seen freely walking in the corridors while the official ceremony is going on. Since it has surfaced on social media, it has garnered thousands of views, some users called it leopard while some wondered if it is a pet animal. While some social media users guessed the animal, others raised questions about the authenticity of the video and some claimed that the video was edited.

Meanwhile, according to the sources, the video is authentic as similar footage was recorded during the live telecast of Doordarshan. 

According to the official website of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Flora and Fauna, has eighty-four animal species comprising forty-two invertebrates and an equal number of vertebrates like frogs, garden lizards, snakes etc. have been sighted along the trail. A total of thirty-two bird species have also been sighted along the trail which includes Myna, Red-vented Bulbul, Indian Grey Hornbill and others.
