After facing backlash from Aap Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on allegations of rape and death threats, the famous YouTuber on Tuesday hit back at Maliwal and called all the allegations against him ‘Fake.’

Taking it to his X handle, Rathee posted, “Fake allegations against me, daily death threats, dehumanizing insults, coordinated campaigns to defame me … I’m used to it by now. The irony is that perpetrators are pretending to be victims. Everyone knows who is behind all this. They want to silence me. But that’s not gonna happen. If you silence 1 Dhruv Rathee, 1000 new ones will rise up.”

The statement from the YouTuber came after Maliwal on Sunday alleged that she has been receiving death threats following the ‘Character Assassination’ campaign by AAP leaders and their volunteers. She alleged that the YouTuber had posted a ‘one-sided’ post against her.

Maliwal also expressed disappointment with Rathee, saying, “It is shameful that people like him, who claim to be independent journalists could act like other AAP spokespersons and victim shame me to the extent that I am now facing extreme abuses and threats.”

The Rajya Sabha MP in the post demanded strong action against the YouTuber Dhruv Rathee.
