In a peculiar turn of events in Kuchaman City, Didwana district of Rajasthan, an electric car breaking down led to an unexpected spectacle. Anil Singh Medtia, the Leader of the Opposition in the Kuchaman Municipal Council, faced a unique challenge when his electric vehicle stopped working. Instead of waiting for help, he had the car pulled by oxen, creating a scene that has now gone viral on social media. The video, capturing the unusual sight of oxen towing a modern electric car, has left people across the region both amused and curious.

A year of unresolved issues

Medtia revealed that his struggles with the car began soon after its purchase in 2023. Despite 16 visits to the service center in just one year, the issues remain unresolved. His primary grievance revolves around the car's inability to deliver the promised mileage on a full charge. Medtia accused the manufacturer of deceptive claims and shared his frustration over the mental stress caused by the recurring problems.

The incident took place a few days ago when Medtia's car broke down yet again, despite being fully charged. Frustrated and determined to make a statement, he resorted to using oxen to pull the vehicle. This unconventional move not only highlighted his predicament but also left bystanders stunned.

Similar case in Dholpur

This isn’t the first time vehicle reliability has come under scrutiny in Rajasthan. Recently, a farmer in Dholpur district set his tractor ablaze out of frustration after repeated breakdowns and inadequate support from the manufacturer. Such incidents raise significant questions about the accountability of vehicle manufacturers and the quality of their products.

The sight of an electric car being pulled by oxen has turned into a sensation, shedding light on the growing discontent among vehicle owners grappling with unresolved technical issues.
