New Delhi: Polarizing social media influencer Andrew Tate is accused of rape and strangulation by two British women, according to a report by the BBC. Tate and his brother, Tristan, are currently facing serious legal charges in Romania, including human trafficking and sexual exploitation. If convicted, the brothers could face prison sentences exceeding 10 years. Both Andrew and Tristan have denied these allegations.
Currently under house arrest in Romania, Andrew Tate is also being investigated for multiple offenses, including the trafficking of minors and engaging in sexual activity with underage individuals. The latest accusations from the UK, involving British women who claim they were attacked by the Tate brothers prior to the Romanian investigation, have brought renewed attention to the controversial figure.
One of the accusers, known by the pseudonym "Anna," claims she was in a relationship with Tate in 2013. She recounted a harrowing experience in which Tate allegedly threatened her before raping and strangling her. “He just looked at me and said, ‘I'm debating whether I should rape you or not,’” Anna told the BBC.
According to her, Tate later sent disturbing messages expressing satisfaction with his violent actions. In a voice note, he reportedly said, “The more you didn’t like it, the more I enjoyed it.” Additionally, he allegedly texted her, “I love raping you.”
A second woman, referred to as “Sienna,” claimed she met Tate in 2014. During their encounter, she alleged that Tate strangled her until she lost consciousness during sex. “I was absolutely terrified,” Sienna recounted. “I just remember gasping for air... It was rape.” She further revealed that Tate continued to assault her even after she regained consciousness.
