New Delhi: A strange situation arose during the protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on Sunday, when a female protestor allegedly snatched the keys of the police bus that was preparing to take the detained people and ran away among the crowd. The bus could not move forward as the key was not found. The video of the incident is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.Â
According to the video that surfaced, the police had detained some people during the protest and preparations were being made to take them from there by bus. Meanwhile, a woman protestor reached near the bus and took the keys from the driver and ran away from there. After the woman ran away with the keys, the bus remained standing at the spot.Â

After the key was not found, policemen were seen pushing the bus to move it away from the spot. Another video of this entire incident has also surfaced on social media. In the video, policemen are seen trying to take the bus away from the protest site.Â
This demonstration was being held demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and issues related to amendment of the electoral list. A large number of policemen were deployed during the demonstration. According to the police, when the situation became tense, the protesters tried to break the barricades and stop the buses carrying the detained people.Â
According to police, around 110 people were detained during Sunday's protest, while around 15 policemen were injured. Security forces tried to control the situation and clear the protest site. Meanwhile, tension increased between the police and the protesters.
The video of the woman running away with the keys of the police bus is being shared rapidly on social media. Some users are seeing this as an attempt to stop the detained protesters from being transported by bus, while some have raised questions on the legal aspect of snatching the keys of the vehicle and stopping its movement. Currently available reports have not confirmed any legal action against the woman.
