Ghaziabad: Chandni Bhati, a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, has become a major sensation point on social media due to her unique teaching style. Instead of forcing children to memorize lessons by rote, she teaches them through singing, dancing, and playful activities. Audiences love her engaging approach, especially her dance routines to popular children's songs like "Aaj Mangalwar Hai, Chuhe Ko Bukhar Hai" and "Titli Udi Bus Mein Chadi." This creative method has driven massive engagement, with some of her individual videos crossing 119 million views on Instagram.
While school is often perceived as boring. But, Bhati has completely flipped that point of view. In the classroom, she essentially becomes a child herself to connect with her students. Her viral videos showcase how she uses expressive facial cues and dance moves to help children memorize poems and lessons. Because of this creative approach, students not only grasp concepts quicker but also look forward to coming to school every day. Bhati noted that these rhythmic rhymes are excellent for holding the children's attention, especially when they start losing focus midway through class.
Bhati does more than just serve as a vice-head at her school; she has built a massive digital fanbase. She commands a following of over 1.8 million (18 lakh) followers on Instagram. Each of her video posts routinely accumulates hundreds of thousands of likes and thousands of comments. Viewers consistently praise her modern approach to education, warmly labeling her the "cool teacher."
Bhati's decision to adopt this playful method stems from a deeply personal childhood experience. She recalls that during her own school days, some of her teachers were incredibly strict, often scolding or physically punishing the students. This fear left a lasting mark on her young mind. Right then, she resolved that if she ever became an educator, she would never rule the classroom with fear, choosing instead to teach children with love and affection.
Bhati’s entire family is deeply rooted in the education sector. Her grandfather, Ajit Bhati, is a retired school principal, her father serves as a school manager, and her mother is a school principal herself. In an older video filmed on a school results day, she gave her followers a brief glimpse of her mother seated in the principal's chair.
