A video has gone viral from inside a flight flying from the UK to Turkey, where a drunk football hooligan got involved in a clash with fellow passengers aboard, forcing the airline staff to call the cops.

The video shows the aggressive behavior of the man with fellow passengers and the staff. In the video, a little girl can be seen scared and looking for safety with her mother, as the man went on hurling abuses and punches.

In the video, the man can be seen wearing a green and white striped Celtic Football Club shirt and throwing punches at flight attendants as they tried to calm him after the flight landed. The report claims that man was disrupting passengers throughout the flights, as soon as it took off from Edinburgh.

In Europe and many other countries where football is a religion, hooliganism and the football ultra culture—where some fans will stop at nothing to support their teams are commonplace.

However, some of these groups of supporters, who identify with their particular football teams, have also found themselves embroiled in scandals due to incidents of racism, vandalism of public property, assaults on players from the teams they support, and altercations with rival ultras.

Response from Easyjet

Easyjet acknowledged the altercation and stated that police were summoned inside the aircraft to remove the unruly passenger. The crew members of EasyJet are skilled in scenario assessment and evaluation, as well as prompt and suitable action to guarantee that passenger safety is never jeopardized. A representative for the airline stated, "Although these situations are uncommon, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behavior."
