Has the End of Kaliyuga Has Begun? Shocking Predictions Linked to Jagannath Puri Temple (OpenAi)
New Delhi: In the spiritual traditions of India, the discussion regarding Bhavishya Malika has once again intensified. From social media to religious forums, it is being claimed that this book written by Saint Achyutananda Das mentions the last phase of Kaliyuga, natural disasters, social changes and many signs related to Lord Jagannath. However, there is no official or scientific confirmation of these predictions and they are seen only in the context of religious faith and traditional beliefs.
Bhavishya Malika is considered a religious text associated with the Vaishnava tradition of Odisha. It is believed that many future events have been mentioned in it. Whenever events like war, natural disasters, epidemics or social instability occur in the world, the prophecies of this book start being mentioned again. In the last few years, many claims related to this have become increasingly viral on social media.
Popular interpretations of Bhavishya Malika claim that in the last phase of Kaliyuga, people's faith in religion will weaken and the traditions of Lord Jagannath will be questioned. Some people also link the systemic delay during Navakalevar in 2015 to this prediction. However, there is no official evidence available in this regard and the temple administration never accepted linking it to the prophecy.
Local beliefs say that breaking or falling of stones in the temple complex, unusual incidents involving the flag, damage to the sacred Kalpavat tree or incidents involving the Sudarshan Chakra are seen as signs of future Malika. Even after the severe cyclone 'Fani' in the year 2019, many people had discussed these incidents by linking them with predictions. However, experts say that natural phenomena cannot be considered as direct evidence of religious predictions.
Some popular interpretations of Bhavishya Malika are claimed to refer to blood rain, severe natural disasters, and increasing unrest in human society. Many times such incidents are presented on social media by linking them with these predictions. But these claims have not been scientifically confirmed and experts advise people not to rely on unconfirmed information.
According to religious beliefs, when unrighteousness reaches its peak, Lord Vishnu will take Kalki incarnation and after that Satyayuga will begin. Many interpretations of Bhavishya Malika are linked to this belief. However, experts in theology believe that the purpose of these prophecies is not to create fear among the people but to inspire them to follow the path of religion, truth and virtue.
Experts believe that Bhavishya Malika is an important heritage of Indian religious tradition, but it would not be appropriate to consider every interpretation of it as the final truth. Jagannath Temple is the center of faith for crores of people and its core message is service, dedication, compassion and human welfare. In such a situation, predictions should be understood in the context of faith, while before believing any claim, its factual side must also be examined.
