Evening Puja Rituals

For the evening puja, an image or idol of Gauri Mata, Ganesha, the Karwa, and the moon is placed on a clay or wooden platform. Turmeric, kumkum, rice, a lamp, fruits, sweets, and a Karwa (water pot) are placed on the platform. Suhaag items such as bangles, vermillion, a bindi, and henna are also placed in front of the goddess.
