Laddu Gopal (Social media)
Spiritual News: The child form of Lord Krishna, Laddu Gopal, is sitting as a symbol of love and reverence in the homes of millions of devotees. But do you know that if some small things are ignored in his service, then the whole fruit of worship is not given? Especially there are some rules about his clothes, which every devotee must know.
Bathing Laddu Gopal every day and dressing him in new clothes is not just a ritual but an emotional service. Just like we wake up our little child in the morning and bathe him, similarly this service is expected of little Gopal as well. But many times devotees do not know what to do with old or torn clothes. Lest some inauspicious act be done by mistake.
According to the Puranas and the beliefs of saints, Laddu Gopal should not be dressed in clothes that are torn, stitched together, or whose color has faded. It is just like a broken idol is not considered worshipable. This can create negative energy in the environment. Clean but old clothes can be worn if they are in good condition, but not torn clothes.
If Laddu Gopal's clothes are old or torn, throwing them in the garbage is considered a direct insult. Instead, you can immerse them with devotion in the following ways:
Keeping in mind the current weather, Laddu Gopal should be dressed in cotton, light, and airy clothes. Bright, clean, and colorful clothes make them look more attractive and also increase devotion in worship.
These rules are based on scriptures, discourses, and experiences of devotees. No solution is associated with faith and discretion. Therefore, keep reverence and thinking together before adopting any rule.
