Kawasaki has introduced the updated Ninja ZX-10R in Indian Market. This new version of the supersport has been launched at a starting priced of Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 99,000 more than the earlier model sold in the country. The styling of the bike stays the same as before, but the company has changed its power figures.

Engine And Performance

The 2026 Ninja ZX-10R continues to use the 998cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor paired with a six-speed gearbox. Its output now stands at 193 hp at 13,000 rpm and 112 Nm at 11,400 rpm, which is 7 hp and 2.9 Nm lower than the MY25 version. Other mechanical parts of the bike remain unchanged. The engine sits inside a tubular diamond frame with Showa BFF front forks and a Showa BFRC rear monoshock that has a piggyback reservoir along with compression, rebound damping, and spring preload adjustment. Braking is handled by twin 330mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc. An Ohlins electronic steering damper is also part of the package.

Features And Styling

On the equipment side, the motorcycle offers a TFT display with smartphone pairing, several riding modes, dual-channel ABS, cruise control, launch control, engine brake control, and traction control. The looks stay unchanged with twin headlights and a sharp, aggressive body showing its sporty character. Buyers can choose between two colour schemes: Metallic Graphite Gray with Metallic Diablo Black or a mix of Lime Green, Ebony, and Pearl Blizzard White.
