Auto News: Kawasaki Motorcycle has cut the prices of two major bikes of its offroad segment 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230 and 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230R S in the Indian market. The main reason for this step is a change in GST rates. Both bikes have now become more economical than before for offeroding enthusiasts, making it more competitive options in the segment. Both these bikes recently launched by Kawasaki have been designed especially for Indian offroading lovers. The popularity of these bikes in India is increasing and it directly compete with Hero MotoCorp's XPULSE 200 4 Pro.

Price cut details

Kawasaki has cut the prices of both bikes by thousands of rupees.

• 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230: The price of this bike has been reduced by Rs 16,000. Now its new ex-showroom price is Rs 1.84 lakh.
• 2025 Kawasaki Klx 230R S: The price of this bike has been cut by Rs 15,000 and its new ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 1.79 lakh.

Earlier these bikes were applicable 28% GST, but now it has reduced to 18% GST. Due to the decrease in GST, the price of bikes has directly decreased by thousands of rupees.

Engine and technical features

Both bikes have a 233cc capacity single-cylinder, two-valve engine. This engine provides 17.85 bhp power and 18.3 newton-meters of torque to the bike. Also, there are six to six transpirations in both the bikes. Kawasaki has launched the bike with specialties such as fully adjustable suspension, better ground clearance, long suspension travel, off-road tires, and spoke wheels for offering. Due to these features, the bike also gives excellent performance in difficult routes and challenging terrain.

Combat and market position

The 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230 and KLX 230R S mainly compete with the Hero XPulse 200 4 Pro. These bikes have been introduced especially for amateurs of off-roading and adventure riding. These bikes have become a more attractive option after price cuts. Overall, these new prices of Kawasaki can prove to be a very profitable deal for the amateurs of off-roading bikes.
