Auto News: Maruti offers flexible charging options for all users. A home AC charger works for daily use. Fast chargers give quick top-ups on highways. Over 2,000 stations are active in 1,100 cities. Owners can find stations through the “e for me” app. Time-slot booking is available for rush days. A portable charger comes with the SUV. This setup helps drivers stay confident on long routes.
The e Vitara leads with a 543 km ARAI range. This comes with the larger 61 kWh battery. The smaller 49 kWh option offers up to 344 km WLTP. Hyundai Creta EV delivers up to 510 km. The e Vitara therefore gives the best top figure. Real-world use will vary with traffic, weather and driving style. Still, it remains one of the longest-range EVs in its class.
Maruti will reveal prices at the January 2026 launch. Expected pricing is Rs 17–22 lakh. This keeps it competitive against Creta EV and Tata’s BE range. Higher variants may touch the upper band. Battery-as-a-Service will also be offered. Monthly subscription can lower the upfront cost. Bookings are expected to open soon. Maruti wants the e Vitara to stay value-focused.

Two battery options are available. The 49 kWh pack is ideal for city travel. It delivers strong efficiency and lower cost. The 61 kWh pack is made for long journeys. It gives the highest range and better power. The 4WD setup works only with the 61 kWh pack. Adventure users may prefer this version. City riders can pick the smaller option confidently.
The SUV is designed for practical Indian conditions. Charging access is expanding steadily. Range figures are class-leading. Features match modern expectations. Pricing is expected to stay competitive. For first-time EV buyers, it brings trust and simplicity. For long-distance users, it offers strong battery support.
