Nissan launched New Juke EV and X-Trail Hybrid: Features and Design Explained (X)
New Delhi: Nissan has introduced two new SUVs, the third generation Juke and the fourth generation X-Trail, at its Global Vision event. The company's strategy is clear that it is moving forward rapidly on electric and hybrid technology. The new Juke will be brought in a completely electric avatar, while the X-Trail will see a hybrid system for the first time.
Nissan Juke is known for its distinct and bold design and the new model takes this identity forward. Sharp cuts and angles have been given in the exterior of the car, which give it a quite futuristic look. Black finish has been used on the bonnet, roof and rear section, while the split headlight setup and newly designed alloy wheels make it more attractive.
According to reports, Juke EV can have 52 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options. A front-mounted motor will power these batteries, enhancing the car's driving range and performance.
The new X-Trail's design prioritizes simplicity and practicality over the Juke's. A large black section is provided in its front, in which the headlights are integrated. Furthermore, the hexagonal DRLs and patterned grille render it a strong SUV look.
Viewed from the side, the design of the X-Trail appears straight and tall, with a large window area. At the rear, large LED tail lamps and strong bumper give it a premium and powerful appeal.
